Research Project by the Turkish Scientist to Contribute to the Global COVID-19 Drug Research
Assist. Prof. Dr. Mert Gur, the Vice Dean of ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, joins the call of the COVID-19 High Performance Computing (HPC) Consortium with his research project titled “Exploring Binding and Fusion Mechanism of SARS-CoV-2 Spike Glycoprotein Using Molecular Dynamics Simulations”. The COVID-19 HPC Consortium is a unique private-public effort spearheaded by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the U.S. Department of Energy and IBM in the fight against COVID-19.
